Wedding couples interested in a great venue need to tune in and hear Kahu Kalehua Featheran’s first guest, Raymond Donato, Director of Wedding Sales and Events at the JW Marriott Ihilani Resort and Spa share in his own words, his love and genuine service orientation towards all of his clients.  With 20 years of experience at the JW Marriott, Raymond provides a complimentary consultation which provides clients with much information and ideas.  The JW Marriott Ihilani Resort and Spa has an oceanfront or gazebo wedding venue, accommodating 200 and 60 guests respectively, as well as 387 rooms (37 of them suites), a spa with a private bridal salon, 3 wonderful restaurants, ballrooms that can hold up to 900 guests and the spectacular sunsets of the west side of the island.  Although the choice of many destination couples, the JW Marriott Ihilani Resort and Spa is a smart choice for local people as well, who can enjoy a neighbor island feel without leaving Oahu.  Raymond often serves as a minister or emcee for his wedding couples, who now consider Raymond not only their wedding consultant, but a friend as well.

The second segment features Mila Troutman of Milaniko wedding apparel.  Milaniko offers European fashions of traditional Ukranian quality.  A tailor with 20 years of experience, Mila has also passed on her fashion sense to son, Niko or Nick who is currently in charge of design production of the wedding gowns in the Ukraine.  Made by hand from start to finish, Milaniko’s wedding gowns are made with Italian satin, French lace and hand beading and embroidery.  All of the gowns are made to order and prices are extremely affordable – you have to watch this show to hear the price ranges and once you do, a visit to Milaniko will be on the top of your list.  For brides who wish to rent their wedding gowns, Milaniko also offers this service and gowns can be rented for 3 days.  Milaniko is working on a tuxedo line made with 100% wool and Italian fabrics, with the largest and most reputable Turkish textile manufacturer and businesses who are interested in purchasing wedding gowns or tuxedos in bulk can call Mila to make an appointment to discuss this opportunity.

Kalehua’s third guest is Gilbert Magbual, owner and DJ of N-D Mixx Productions, a family-run business, with wife Fran and his daughter and son all helping out.  2011 marks Gil’s 20th successful year in the DJ business.  His vast library of songs numbers 75,000 and if his client wants a song that he doesn’t have, Gil will go out of his way to find that song for his client.  Gil can set up sound and lighting for an intimate group of 20 guests to large wedding receptions and corporate functions of 2,000 guests or more.  Gil likes to have his bride and groom be the star at their own wedding, so his motto is “your music, your way”.

Also, the music you hear in the background of the interviews is being provided by Kupaoa – mahalo
