If you ever saw a horse and carriage in Waikiki
or downtown during the Honolulu City Lights display, you have seen Honeylook.com’s Presents Sponsor
Honolulu Horse & Carriage in action. Owner/operations since 1997,
Michelle Blacconiere and her Dad, Michael Blacconiere have the distinction of
being the only horse and carriage operation on Oahu.
In addition to weddings, they also have carriages for funerals, graduation,
promos, fundraising and other special events and you can see the various
carriages as well as horses during the interview. Ikaika Uhane, the white
English shire, probably the largest horse on the island at 2,500 pounds, was
born black as were some of the other Percherons that pull the carriages. Honolulu Horse and Carriage will be one of the
vendors at the Koolau Ballrooms Bridal Open House, planned for August 16
– calendar this event and come out to meet the vendors at Honeylook.com.
Koolau Ballrooms & Conference Center’s
Event Services Manager, Merri Ford, is Kalehua’s second guest.
Handling weddings and all events, including birthday parties, anniversaries,
school events, Merri’s 12+ years of experience is really evident in her
knowledge and service oriented manner. She introduces viewers to the 3
wedding venues – the Indoor Waterfall, Outdoor Garden
and Koolau Vista (18th tee). During the second half of the
interview, be present at Koolau Ballroom’s “A Taste of
Koolau” as Norman Higashi,
Director of Operations welcomes everyone to sample Chef Jim Gillespie’s
fabulous menu items. Hear a short presentation by the Koolau
Ballroom’s team and also comments directly from the guests.
We also thank our sponsors, Koolau Ballrooms and Conference Center
(www.koolauballrooms.com), Milaniko Bridal Gowns and Tuxedos (www.milaniko.com) and Honolulu
