Pumehana, Harp Hawaii
Few instruments can set the ambiance for a wedding as well as the harp. As Episode #5 of Hawaii’s Wedding Professionals opens, viewers hear guest Pumehana Davis Wadsworth play the beautiful and often requested Hawaiian Wedding Song as Host Kahu Kalehua Featheran joins her on the balcony of 253 Pu’uikena, a majestic executive estate on Hawaii Loa Ridge.

Pumehana shares with Kahu Kalehua, how she became interested in playing the harp and answers some of the most frequently asked questions about hiring a harpist for a wedding. From extravagant hotels to white sand beaches, Pumehana has been instrumental in creating the perfect mood for a memorable and unforgettable wedding ceremony. At the end of the interview, Kahu Kalehua asks Pumehana to play Canon in D, which she says is one of the songs often requested by the bridal couple.

Patrick Ching, Naturally Hawaiian
Kahu Kalehua’s second guest is Patrick Ching, owner of Naturally Hawaiian Art Gallery. Now, you may ask, what would an art gallery have to do with weddings? Well, Patrick has been commissioned by couples to recreate special places, such as the site at which a groom proposed to his bride – how romantic! And, this painting as well as others are shared with viewers during the interview.

Patrick is partial to nature art – animals, sea life, scenic locations, and his painting classes are filled with artists who share his love of nature. Kahu Kalehua joins Patrick during one of his art classes and is delighted at seeing the works of so many talented individuals.

Naturally Hawaiian Gallery is a landmark in Waimanalo and you can’t miss it. Recently renovated, it’s a great place to stop and browse and then get something for lunch at Sweet Home Waimanalo.
